Operations Analyst

Heitmeyer Consulting is currently looking for an Operations Analyst in Columbus, OH. This is an onsite position 5 days a week.

Operations Analyst with any type of loan closing or booking experience. Responsible for processing the issuance, document examination and financial transactions related to Import/Export Letters of Credit, processing of Incoming/Outgoing Collections and booking of Supply Chain Financing transactions. This position is responsible for reviewing credit approvals to ensure letters issued are in adherence to banks policies and procedures. Provides support and guidance to customers and colleagues, leveraging detailed knowledge of procedures. Performs quality check on completed work.

• Experience reviewing complex financial or legal documentation
• Strong multitasking and organizational skills
• Ability to work in highly regulated environments
• Experience working with operational processes and procedures

Daily Responsibilities:

• Process new incoming trade finance and supply chain finance requests
• Review and analyze customer and transaction documentation
• Extract and enter key information into operational systems
• Support OFAC and compliance-related due diligence activities
• Validate data accuracy and perform quality checks
• Assist with transaction setup and servicing activities
• Learn broader trade finance servicing functions over time
• Work closely with operations and compliance teams
