Associate Attorney

We are seeking a motivated Associate Attorney to join its Lubbock-based personal injury litigation team. The ideal candidate will assist with managing personal injury cases, conduct legal research, prepare legal documents, communicate with clients and opposing counsel, and support cases through settlement and litigation.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and assist with personal injury litigation cases from intake through resolution.
• Conduct legal research and analyze applicable Texas laws.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests/responses, and other legal documents.
• Prepare cases for hearings, depositions, mediations, settlement negotiations, and trial.
• Review medical records, police reports, insurance documents, and other case materials.
• Communicate professionally with clients, insurance companies, opposing counsel, and courts.
• Participate in discovery and case strategy development.

Required Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• Active Texas Bar license in good standing.
• Strong legal research and writing skills.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
