Professional Summary

Seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Manager to lead a quality team and oversee AS9100/IA9100, FAA PMA, DoD compliance, inspections, audits, and continuous improvement within an aerospace manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Quality team.
• Maintain and improve the AS9100/IA9100 QMS.
• Ensure compliance with FAA PMA, DoD, customer, and regulatory requirements.
• Lead internal, customer, FAA, and government audits.
• Manage CAPA, root-cause analysis, MRB, NCRs, and supplier quality.
• Oversee inspections, documentation, traceability, and quality metrics.
• Partner with Engineering and Manufacturing to resolve quality issues and improve processes.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of aerospace manufacturing experience.
• 3+ years of AS9100/IA9100 experience.
• Quality management/team leadership experience.
• FAA PMA manufacturing/inspection experience.
• DoD/government contract experience.
• Knowledge of inspections, blueprints, tolerances, CAPA, and continuous improvement.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• ERP and Microsoft Office experience.

Preferred

• Helicopter/rotorcraft or aircraft parts experience.
• DCMA/source inspection experience.
• Supplier quality and aerospace special-process experience.
• ASQ or relevant quality certification.
