SAT Tutor - Immediate Assignment

The Association of Test Preparation, Admissions, and Private Tutoring ( TPAPT) is seeking motivated and engaging SAT tutors for assignments the Tampa area.

Tests: SAT RW, SAT Math, SAT Full Test

Classification: Contract

Compensation: $45-$50/hr commensurate

Location: in-person at a neutral location, or in home

• In-person test prep tutoring for students in grades 9-12
• Tutoring assignments are typically 60 minutes
• Tutoring is generally scheduled between 2pm and 9pm during the school year week and between 10am - 4pm on weekend days.
• Summer hours may include times between 10am-4pm during the week.

Requirements

• Strong past SAT or ACT scores
• 2-6 hours per week of availability
• Earned Bachelor's Degree from a US 4 year degree granting college
• Exceptional communication skills
• Past experience tutoring or teaching the SAT or ACT
• A passion for helping others learn
